If you look closely, Tag #3 has a textured background that was created with Ranger's new Texture Paste and Tim Holtz's Damask Stencil (actually named Gothic). These items are available at Creativ You & Co! After allowing the texture paste to dry, I sprayed the "white" Distress Spray Stain all over; then sprayed the Distress Spray Stain in the Pewter on the bottom of the tag...turned it upside down and let the pewter run on to the white. After that layer was dry, I distressed the edges with a little Wendy Vecchi watering can! The embellishments I used were resin birds from Prima, and a variety of other items from my stash!

This tag's base is primarily paper from Close To My Heart's new Idea Book. I used Claudine Hellmuth's Multi-Matte, to adhere the chosen papers to the manila tag. Then I let each layer dry. I also distressed the edges in between layers, with Black Soot & Gathered Twigs Distress Inks..

The Poinsettia was cut using Tim Holtz's Tattered Poinsettia Die; then colored with Gold & Red Inka-Gold(shown below)

I used Tim Holtz's Distress Paint, in "Tarnished Brass," on his Crackle Stamp; on a basic manila tag. Then allow to dry. Doing this creates a resist, to what will be added next.

I lightly misted the tag with a little water, and then I used these 2 Distress Spray Stains to color the background. I used a heating tool to dry.

Next: I chose Tim's "Festive" Stencil for my tag. Then...

with a spatula, I applied these 3 fabulous Modeling Crèmes from Viva Décor! I placed each color where I wanted it, and set it aside to dry. Later, I added distressed the edges with Vintage photo ink and a blending tool; I added a little tulle and a few flat back red pearls. All the products used and shown here are available at Creativ You & Co.! If stock is limited or you have a special color request, pre-ordering is always an option!
