TheArtChain Day 4 post.

This is my Day 4 posting of my #TheArtChain nomination. Today, I nominate Lorraine Padden, to participate and show her art for 5 days and She will nominate someone new each of her 5 days.

I'm sharing a "heart" that's made of Tin! I used Wendy Vecchi's Archival pads and coordinating embossing powers; Tim Holtz's Crackle Stamp and Remnant rub-ons; along with so "I Am Roses" flowers that I colored myself.
I would love to hear what you all think...and thanks so much for checking out my post! StaC J.

Christmas 2014 Tag #22

Greetings Everyone!

Here to share my Christmas Tag #22 of 24!

I mixed the mica powders with Wendy Vecchi's Translucent Embossing Paste, until I got the right color. Then, I applied a layer of the mixed paste to the tag, using the Holly Bough Layering Stencil. Remove the Stencil and allow to dry.

I misted the tag with water, then I used Crushed Olive Distress Spray Stain and Fresh Lime Dylusion's Ink Spray. Allow to dry. I distressed the edges with Vintage Photo ink.
Background is done!

Christmas 2014 Tag #20!

Greetings All! Here is my Tag#20

First, I used Tim Holtz's Marble image from his Marble & Doily Stamp set, I stamped the background of a manila tag with Adirondack's Pearl Metallic Acrylic Paint. Allowed it to dry.

Next, I applied a layer of Ranger's Texture Paste, using Tim Holtz's "Rays" Layered Stencil.

then, I sprayed Barn Door Distress Spray Stains over the entire tag. Allow to dry.
I distressed the edges with a little Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Background is done!

Now on to the Holly Branch! I cut out the shapes on Tim Holtz's Holly Branch Die (retired); using Wendy Vecchi's Clearly For Art "Whiteout" Modeling Film.
I used Adirondack's Library Green Archival Ink; Viva Decor's "Jade" Inka Gold, on the leaves and Tim Holtz's Walnut Stain Distress Embossing Powder on the branch.
The techniques I used will be featured in a upcoming January Workshop!

Finally, I added 'Kaiser Crafts' Crystal Merry Christmas; Some white seam binding, sprigs & a CTMH metal flower embellishment!
Most of the products and materials I used are available...and can be purchased from Creativ You & Co!

Christmas 2014 Tags #3 & #4!

Hello Everyone!
Here's Tags #3 & #4!

If you look closely, Tag #3 has a textured background that was created with Ranger's new Texture Paste and Tim Holtz's Damask Stencil (actually named Gothic). These items are available at Creativ You & Co!
After allowing the texture paste to dry, I sprayed the "white" Distress Spray Stain all over; then sprayed the Distress Spray Stain in the Pewter on the bottom of the tag...turned it upside down and let the pewter run on to the white. After that layer was dry, I distressed the edges with a little Wendy Vecchi watering can! The embellishments I used were resin birds from Prima, and a variety of other items from my stash!

Tag #4 is a cute and fun one!

It's a accordion pocket tag!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hope you come by to check out tag #5!

Thanks again and as always. ..Happy Creating!
